Matthew (Matt) Ryan Conklin Lambert, 25, originally of Alpharetta, Ga, (recently residing in Tryon, N.C.) passed away on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Atlanta, Ga. he was the son of Sean Joseph Lambert, M.D. and Cynthia Conklin Lambert, M.D. of Alpharetta, Ga.  Matt was a professional horseman pursuing his passion and living his dream.

Surviving in addition to his parents is his brother, Christopher Sean Conklin Lambert of Alpharetta, Ga.; paternal grandfather, Walter Joseph Lambert, M.D. of Williamsburg, Va. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by Joseph E Conklin (Opa), Elizabeth Jean Hamrick Conklin (Oma) and Mary Bruemmer Lambert (Grammy).

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, 2014 at Blakely Funeral Home in Gaffney, S.C.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 at Jacksons Grove United Methodist Church, www.jacksonsgrove.org  in Landrum, S.C with Rev. Michael Bowers officiating.  Immediately following will be a Celebration of Life at The FENCE House, www.fence.org, of Tryon, N.C. All are warmly invited to share in this celebration.
