From Oct. 19-Nov. 2, 2014, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 247 calls. There were 13 misdemeanor arrests with 16 total charges, nine felony arrests with 28 total charges, 26 civil papers served and 31 criminal papers served. Officers assisted other agencies 14 times, completed 530 house checks, 604 church checks, 1,011 business checks and patrolled 11,702 miles.
