Alice Emery Levi, 85, of Columbus, N.C. passed away Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014 at White Oak Manor, Tryon, N.C.

Born in Polk Co. she was the daughter of the late Jule and Lura Pace Emery.  A member of Lynn First Baptist Church, she retired from the textile industry in 1982.  She loved knitting and was an avid reader.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth William Levi (Letitia) of Orlando, Fla. and Scottie Levi of Belmont, N.C.; two daughters, Linda Levi Condrey of Gastonia, N.C. and Norma Levi Hunt of Columbus, N.C.; as well as a brother, Johnny Emery of Raleigh, N.C.; and five grandchildren: Sam, Adam, and Jaclyn Levi and Brackett and Brandi Hunt.  She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Memorial services were held on Monday, Oct. 20, 2014 at Lynn First Baptist Church, Lynn, N.C. with Rev. Jesse Yarbrough and Rev. Jimmy Owens officiating.

Burial followed the service in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, N.C.

The family received friends from 10 – 10: 45 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 21, just prior to the service at Lynn First Baptist Church.
