Gail Johnson Barnes, 76, of Indian Trail, N.C. died Monday, Sept. 22, 2014 in Lake Park Nursing Home, Indian Trail, N.C.
Born in Polk County, she was the daughter of the late James Elmer and Mary Elizabeth Foster Johnson. Gail was the owner of FuelLine Publishing and was a member of Fairfield Mountain Chapel, Lake Lure.
Surviving are: her husband, Charles L. Null; 3 daughters, Leigh Boyes (Walter), Beth Barnes, and Paige Barnes; a sister, Patricia Martin and a brother, Clark Johnson. 7 grandchildren, Russell Rizzi, Helen Rizzi, Justin Boyes, Madeleine Boyes, Benjamin Barnes, Nicholas Ohrlein, and Maximilian Ohrlein. Also surviving is one great-grandchild, Michael Owen.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, 2014 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, with Rev. Everett Chapman officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 – 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
Burial will be in the Pacolet Hills Baptist Church Cemetery, Red Fox Road, Tryon.
