This summer, volunteers from the Congregational Church in Tryon partnered with Outreach to feed our neighbors in need. Congregational Church volunteers prepared and delivered meals for needy families in Polk County and Outreach assisted the church by ordering food and providing the space to assemble the bags.

If you, your church organization or service club would like to participate in working with Polk County’s residents in need, please contact Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry. Outreach is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1991. The organization’s mission is to provide compassionate assistance to Polk County residents who are unable to provide for their basic life needs.
