Landrum Fire Department to host Sept. 11 Memorial Service

The Landrum Fire Department will be hosting a 9/11 Memorial Service at the Fire Department starting at 1 p.m. on Sept. 11. This event is open to the public and all emergency services personnel. This service will include the release of white doves by LJ Meyers of the White Wings Over America organization, guest speaker retired NYC Firefighter and Fire Marshal Steve Boehm, a welcome by Landrum Mayor Robert Briggs, and a time of remembrance and prayer. Following the service, there will be light refreshments and a tribute video presented at the Landrum Depot.
