Polk County District Court results for Aug. 27

In Polk County District Court Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, with Judge Athena Brooks presiding, 175 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
James Tyler Bateman was convicted of possess natural bait/trout waters. Bateman was fined $20 and court costs.
Justin Lee Carroll was convicted of misdemeanor maintain vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance and simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance. Carroll was sentenced to 12 months supervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Cory Edwin Crawford was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Crawford was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Cameron Adams Houser was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Houser was fined $30 and court costs.
Christopher James Hudson was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Hudson was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Jeffrey Robert McCall was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. McCall was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Sharon Dianne Nanney was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia. Nanney was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Jason Michael Pace was convicted of level four driving while impaired. Pace was sentenced to two days in jail with credit, 12 months unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.
Anita Jeannette Peeler was convicted of failure to comply monies. Peeler was sentenced to three days in jail with credit.
John Chad Rickman was convicted of open container after consumption of alcohol first. Rickman was fined $50 and court costs.
Molly Elaina Rushing was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Rushing was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Rogelio Gutie Sanchez was convicted of no operator’s license. Sanchez was fined $50 and court costs.
Maynor David Saravia was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Saravia was to pay court costs.
Paul Timothy Schaefer was convicted of covering/disguising registration plate. Schaefer was to pay court costs.
Mallory Danielle Taylor was convicted of impaired equipment. Taylor was fined $40 and court costs.
