John Michael (Mike) Ruff, 54 of Mill Spring, N.C. passed away Sunday Aug. 24, 2014. He was the son of Jean Ruff Moore of Sunnyview, N.C. and the late Howard (Sonny) Ruff.
Survivors are his wife of 33 years, Diane Clemmons Ruff; son Jonathan Heath Ruff of Mill Spring, N.C.; daughter Heather Nichole Ruff; granddaughter Alexis Nichole Cash of Chesnee, S.C.; two brothers William Ruff (Amy) of Mill Spring, N.C. and Jerry Ruff of Landrum, S.C.; three sisters Belinda Lookadoo (Ricky) of Columbus, N.C., Sandra McCraw (Carroll) of Mill Spring, N.C. and Vicki Lindsey of Sunnyview, N.C.; step-father Bobby Moore; and his beloved dog, Sierra.
Services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. at the Mill Spring First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Michael Ruff Memorial Fund, c/o Home Trust Bank. The family will be at the home of his sister, Belinda Lookadoo, 370 Jackson Grove Road, Columbus, N.C.
