The Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce’s sixteenth Annual Otho Gibbs Chamber Golf Tournament will be held on September 18, 2014 at Meadowbrook Golf Club. Tryon Federal Bank will be the presenting sponsor. Visit the Chamber website at www.carolinafoothillschamber.com for an online application.
There will be lunch before play provided by Meadowbrook, and a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Award presentations and raffle prizes will follow play, along with a steak dinner. Prizes will be awarded to first and second place teams in three flights. There will also be prizes for closest to the pin, most accurate drive as well as lots of door prizes. The format of the tournament is captain’s choice.
The proceeds of the golf tournament help to fund the Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber Foundation. The Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organization, has served our communities for over 80 years by being the primary central source of information or our area and promoting our businesses to residents, visitors, newcomers and everyone. The Chamber Foundation was established in 1999 and last year granted funds to local organizations.
