Cynthia Milligan (right) with To The Point Acupuncture presented a program recently to the Kiwanis Club of Tryon on Oriental medicine and the benefits of acupuncture in healing. Milligan explained that acupuncture care helps to relieve symptoms and signs of many health problems and can also uncover the underlying root cause of those symptoms. The goal of acupuncture is to activate the natural self-healing abilities of the body. It can also strengthen and support the body to prevent future illness and disease. For more information, call 828-817-4734. As thanks, Kiwanian Ernie Giannini, presented a children’s book in Milligan’s name; the book will be contributed to a local office to provide reading entertainment for children.
