Nancy Iva Lovelace Geisel of 225 S. Hillside St Rutherfordton, N.C. went to be with the Lord on July 9, 2014 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. Born on July 21, 1945 in Shelby, N.C., she was the daughter of the late CB and Claire Lovelace.
She is survived by her children: Paul Geisel (Kathleen) of Inman, S.C. and Ann Geisel Bryant (Randy) of Campobello, S.C.; four grandchildren: Megan Geisel, Gracie Bryant, Sara Bryant, and Erin Geisel; brothers: Winston Lovelace (Fran) of Titusville, Fla., CB Lovelace Jr. (Shirley) of Mills River, N.C., Bill Lovelace (Dottie) of Fla.; 10 nieces and nephews; and 19 great-nieces and nephews.
Nancy was a recently retired nurse from Wallace Thompson Hospital. She also worked at St. Luke’s and Rutherford Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Friday July 11, 2014 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Crowe’s Mortuary. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday July 12, 2014 at Gilboa United Methodist Church. Donations in her memory may be made to Gilboa Methodist Church, 511 Flynn Road Rutherfordton, N.C. 28139.
