How’s Business: It’s great! The daily paper, monthly and seasonal magazines are all exceptionally well received, and our readers are incredibly devoted. It’s wonderful working here, because, though I have routine, the news is never the same two days in a row – so every day is different, and I absolutely love my coworkers.
One thing you wish everyone knew about your business: We don’t know unless you tell us! We try to stay on top of things, but we are not omniscient. Your first job: Tryon Daily Bulletin pressroom assistance. I started working here part-time putting together sales papers when I was 15. Though the work was hard, the crew I worked with made me never want to leave.
