The Columbus Farmers Market hosts over 40 vendors each Saturday, with an assortment of Polk County’s homegrown produce, meat, cheese, eggs and more. These fresh ripe vegetables from Charlene’s Garden are just some of the many homegrown and home crafted items available. The market is located at the Courthouse Square off of E. Mills St., in Columbus on Saturdays from 8 a.m. – noon. Charlene’s Garden offers tomatoes, corn, yellow squash, cucumbers, eggplant, zucchini, green beans, okra, onions, watermelons, cantaloupes and whole hog sausage.
