Saluda Elementary students receive awards from PC Sherriff’s Office

Eight students from Saluda Elementary School recently received the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Fitness Challenge Award for sheriff’s level of fitness. These students scored in the top fifteenth percentile on five fitness tests.
Fifty-five other students in first – fifth grades scored in the top fiftieth percentile and received the sergeant level of fitness award. Sheriff Donald Hill and Sergeant Jesse Smith presented these awards during the school’s awards programs on the last day of school.
