J. Floyd and Janet Sauvé of Tryon announce the engagement of their daughter, Caroline Ruth, to Jared Daniel Edwards, son of Mark and Angie Edwards of Mill Spring.
Caroline and Jared are both 2009 graduates of Polk County High School.
In addition, Caroline is a graduate of Isothermal Community College with an Associate Degree in School Age Education. She is employed by the Polk County School System and Fatz Café. She is the granddaughter of Ruth and the late John Earl Foy of Tryon and Joseph “Jack” and Opal Sauvé of Columbus.

Jared is also a graduate of Isothermal Community College with an Associate of Science degree as well as a graduate of Blue Ridge Community College with an Associate of Automotive Systems Technology degree. Jared is employed at Bryan Easler Toyota. He is the grandson of Tommy “Roy” and Dorothy “Dot” Price, and Kenneth and Mildred Edwards of Mill Spring.
The couple is planning an October wedding at the Tryon Congregational Church.
