Tryon church honors God, country and the military

On July 5, the Tryon Seventh-day Adventist Church, in Tryon will host an area-wide Independence Day Celebration during the 11 a.m. worship hour. All area churches and the community are invited to attend this time-honored Independence-day tribute.
The church is asking all those who are serving or have served in the military to arrive at the Tryon Church parking lot at 10:30 a.m. Here, all military will line up under the flag of their branch of service. There will be a processional into the sanctuary of flags and military to be seated and honored during this service. In the event of rain, the processional will form in the Morgan Center adjacent to the parking lot.
Those attending should plan to stay for a festive lunch in honor of all military following the service. Those who have any questions or need further information, contact Gene at 864-680-7091. The Tryon Church is located at 2820 Lynn Road in Tryon. All are invited to join in and honor those who have fought or are fighting for the many freedoms enjoyed today.
