The Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony recently for new member Tammy Martell, owner of Bed & Barn Farms Inn, and Tam’s Tack, Antiques and Merchandise. The Inn is unique, in that it is located in half of a barn, and accommodates eight in three separate rooms, and the other half of the barn has four spacious stalls. The Inn also has a common living, dining and kitchen area. Tam’s Tack has new and used tack, and riding apparel, supplies, boots and more. She also has lots of antiques, and other merchandise, so it’s a great place to shop for interesting items. They are located at 661 Big Island Rd. in Forest City. Tammy Martell also hosts a radio talk show called Straight From The Horse’s Mouth each Thursday morning on WCAB 590 AM. For more information call the Chamber at 828-859-6236.
