Local author, Susan McNabb to speak at Lanier Library

Author Susan McNabb of Tryon, who has just published her first novel, Drop Dead Gorgeous, will be the speaker at the Lanier Library’s Brown Bag Lunch on Tuesday, June 17.
McNabb grew up in Asheville, received a B.A. in English literature at the University of Tennessee and moved to Los Angeles where she modeled and acted for many years.
Her debut novel has been described as an adult vampire romance. McNabb is a member of the N.C. Writers’ Network and locally, Tryon Writers. She often shares her work at the Literary Open Stage.
Hobbies include pottery and fiber arts and volunteering at Lanier Library, Tryon Garden Club and other local organizations.
The Brown Bag Lunch will be held at noon in the library. This monthly event is free and open to the public. Those attending are welcome to bring a lunch to eat during the program.
