Tryon Fine Arts Center has hired Luke Nelson as arts administration intern, with a grant provided by the Polk County Community Foundation. As of June 9, Luke is assisting Tryon Fine Arts Center staff in PR and Marketing, helping with the launch of the 2014-15 season and the promotion of upcoming events.

Luke is a 16-year-old junior at the Polk County Virtual Early College. Nelson says, “I am very excited for this opportunity to learn about and work with Tryon Fine Art Center and their community.”
