Polk County District Court results for June 4

In Polk County District Court Wednesday, June 4, 2014 with Judge Athena Brooks presiding, 137 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Stephen Bradley Allison was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Allison was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $20 fine and court costs.
Daniel Elis Axelrod was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia. Axelrod was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.
Constance D. Bailey was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Bailey was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Janna Elizabeth Cain was convicted of impaired equipment. Cain was fined $40 and court costs.
Irene Mozelle Cox was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Cox was fined $100 and court costs.
April Renee Dunn was convicted of impaired equipment. Dunn was to pay court costs.
Robert Lamar Fuqua was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Fuqua was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, seven days in jail, a $500 fine and court costs.
Peter Francis Furlong was convicted of impaired equipment. Furlong was fined $100 and court costs.
Karen J. Lorick was convicted of impaired equipment. Lorick was fined $40 and court costs.
Kimberly Ann Painter was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Painter was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Jason Everett Poucher was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Poucher was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.
Melissa Mandy Riley was convicted of injury to personal property and assault on a government official/employee. Riley was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, four days in jail, $500 in restitution and court costs.
Zachary David Short was convicted of impaired equipment. Short was to pay court costs.
Robert Edward Starkman was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Starkman was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Stacey L. Whitmire was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Whitmire was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit for time served.
Tiffany Wilkie was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Wilkie was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.
Travis Kyle White was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. White was fined $30 and court costs.
Daniel Tribue Hightower was convicted of speeding 64 mph in a 55 mph zone. Hightower was fined $70 and court costs.
Timothy Hamwey was convicted of impaired equipment. Hamwey was fined $40 and court costs.
