Andrew James Suber-Brown, Polk County Farm Bureau member, has been chosen as a recipient of North Carolina Farm Bureau’s R. Flake Shaw Scholarship, the organization’s top academic award. Suber-Brown, who grew up on a family farm and is a 2014 graduate of Polk County High School, will study at North Carolina A&T State University.
The R. Flake Shaw Scholarship program has awarded more than $3 million in scholarship money to agriculture students since it was founded in 1967.
