Renowned WNC Naturalist to provide nature adventure in Tryon

Naturalist and educator Carlton Burke of Carolina Mountain Naturalists will present a live animal and nature program for the Amazing Adventure Bible Camp on Friday, June 20 from 10:30 – noon.
060114-BurkeNatureProgram_MBW The program will be held in the Morgan Center on the campus of the Tryon Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Burke, a state and federally licensed wildlife rehabilitator can be heard each Saturday morning co-hosting Nature News, a local, hour-long radio program, featuring news from the natural world around the western North Carolina region. Burke was on staff for over 25 years as the Curator of Exhibits at the Western North Carolina Nature Center in Asheville, N.C.
The community is welcome to participate during this special session or in the full Amazing Adventures Bible Camp, which will take place the week of June 16-20 from 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
