Polk County District Court results for May 28, 2014

In Polk County District Court Wednesday, May 28, 2014, with Judge Emily Cowan presiding, 220 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Albert Douglas Beaver was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Beaver was fined $40 and court costs.
Henry Fitzgerald Burton was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Burton was fined $40 and court costs.
James L. Carter Sr. was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Carter was fined $40 and court costs.
Joseph Mitchell Case was convicted of driving while license revoked impaired revocation. Case was sentenced to 45 days in jail with credit for time served.
Allen James Conner Jr. was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Conner was sentenced to 30 days in jail.
Thomas Devin Dale was convicted of improper equipment-speedometer. Dale was fined $40 and court costs.
Jessica Nicole Donahue was convicted of possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance. Donahue was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation, 24 hours of community service and court costs.
Kevin Bernard Franklin was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Franklin was fined $30 and court costs.
Donna L. Gilmer was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Gilmer was fined $87 and court costs.
Abraham F. Gomez was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Gomez was fined $40 and court costs.
Michael Preston Helton was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Helton was fined $40 and court costs.
Leanna D. Herring was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Herring was fined $40 and court costs.
Jessica Lynn Hudson was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Hudson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Leesa Rodriquez Judd was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Judd was fined $30 and court costs.
Johnny James McCarter was convicted of level five driving while impaired. McCarter was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Victor Burren Moss was convicted of attempt to take big game animal. Moss was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Darshan K. Nanjegowda was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Nanjegowda was fined $40 and court costs.
Candice Joan Newman was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Newman was fined $40 and court costs.
Erin Elizabeth Roy was convicted of felony possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Roy was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 24 hours of community service and court costs.
Tracy C. Saunderson was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Saunderson was fined $40 and court costs.
Michael Keith Splawn was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation out of county. Splawn was sentenced to 10 days in jail.
Tayler R. Stilgenbauer was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Stilgenbauer was fined $40 and court costs.
Charles Joseph Swetman was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Swetman was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service and court costs.
Elijah Kyle Williams was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Williams was fined $40 and court costs.
Anthony Forlenya was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Forlenya was fined $40 and court costs.
