Polk County District Court results for May 21

In Polk County District Court Wednesday, May 21, 2014, with Judge Pete Knight presiding, 143 cases were heard.
Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Elissa E. Barnes was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Barnes was fined $30 and court costs.
William Aaron Bingham was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Bingham was fined $60 and court costs.
David Brian Bollt was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Bollt was fined $40 and court costs.
Dyric Reeves Brooks was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Brooks was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.
Larry Victor Brown was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Brown was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Voannys Garcia Cabrera was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Cabrera was fined $91 and court costs.
Richard Allen Cacchione was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Cacchione was fined $40 and court costs.
James E. Christopher was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Christopher was fined $40 and court costs.
Keley Victor Duckworth was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Duckworth was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Shauntel Janice Fain was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Fain was sentenced to 24 hours of community service and court costs.
Steffan Michael Fazzari was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Fazzari was fined $96 and court costs.
Chele Johannes Giger was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Giger was fined $40 and court costs.
Marilyn Denise Hill was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Hill was fined $88 and court costs.
Luis Angel Junco was convicted of undesignated lane violation. Junco was to pay court costs.
Brian Dean O’Dell Jr. was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. O’Dell was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Nita Michelle Plumley was convicted of simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance. Plumley was sentenced to 24 hours of community service and court costs.
Chelsea L. Prebee was convicted of texting/email violation in motor vehicle. Prebee was fined $100 and court costs.
Michael Patrick Sullivan was convicted of speeding 84 mph in a 70 mph zone. Sullivan was to pay court costs.
