Polk County Recreation is gearing up for an exciting summer at Gibson Pool. We have multiple ways to get wet this summer including a new competitive swimming program, swimming lessons, lap swim times, open swim and pool parties.
Tryouts for the new competitive swim program will be this Saturday at 10 a.m. There is no obligation to pay for the program at the tryout. Youth between the ages of 5 and 17 can give it try Saturday and then decide whether or not to pony up for the program this summer.
Swimming lessons start next week.  Register now for one of the four sessions taught by experienced, certified instructors.  Forms for swimming lessons, pool passes and the summer schedule are available on the website at www.polknc.org
Watch for more information to come throughout the summer and we hope to see you either at the competitive swim program or at our open house this Saturday between 1 – 3 p.m.
