Tryon author Mary Ann Claud speaks to a rapt audience about writing her recently published novel, “Dancin Man,” at the Lanier Library’s “Brown Bag Lunch” on Tuesday, May 20. “Dancin Man” is a multi-generational saga of a textile family, set against the backdrop of class and money in the rapidly changing South of the 1950’s to 1980’s. The Lanier Library presents its on-going “Brown Bag Lunch” series once a month and the event is free and open to the public.
