Literary Open Stage

Established and emerging writers are invited to share their work, finished or in progress, at the bi-monthly Literary Open Stage at the Upstairs Artspace in Tryon, N.C., Friday, May 16. Sign-up for the 10-minute spots begins at 6:30 p.m., with readings at 7 p.m. Listeners, as well, are encouraged to attend for an eclectic evening of everything from fiction and creative non-fiction, to poetry.
The Upstairs Artspace was founded in 1978 as a nonprofit contemporary art gallery in downtown Tryon, North Carolina, exhibiting contemporary two and three-dimensional art and craft by leading artists of the Southeast, and particularly, the Carolinas.
