Herbalist comes to Tryon Seventh-day Adventist Church Sunday, May 18

How many of us face challenging health problems to say nothing of the accompanying high medical costs? Is there another way to approach these problems?
We believe there is and on May 18 (Sunday), Lee Wellard, a trained herbalist, will be visiting from out of town, giving us a presentation and demonstration of the natural healing power of herbs. Well versed and experienced in herbal remedies, Lee will show us how to make herbal tinctures, fashion an herbal salve first-aid kit, create a cold and cough syrup children love, combine herbs to treat many different ailments, use herbs to balance hormones, and much more!
The afternoon will commence at 1 p.m. with a lunch (donations accepted) and the seminar itself will run from 2 – 5 p.m. We hope many community members will come to acquire this most useful information. Bring a neighbor, loved one, or friend – no charge. We would appreciate a RSVP to Bev Cook at 828-894-5072 so we will know how to plan for lunch. If you cannot make it for lunch, you are still welcome for the seminar at 2 p.m. After the seminar, Lee will have books, herbs, etc. for purchase if one desires.
