Dr. Mary Ann Solesbee, Instructional Coach at Landrum Middle School, donated a copy of her latest book, Sal and Amanda Take Morgan’s Victory March to the Battle of Cowpens, to the O.P. Earle Elementary School Media Center.
Her donation was in honor of Ben and Brooke Murray, for their portrayal as Sal and Amanda during Dr. Solesbee’s book launch, April 12, 2014, at the South Carolina State Museum.
This historical fiction book is Dr. Solesbee’s second book in the Sal and Amanda series based on events in South Carolina’s history.
