Two Polk County wineries win silver medals in international competition

The 14th annual Finger Lakes International Wine Competition was held in Rochester, NY.
The world’s largest charitable wine competition the event drew 3,756 wines entered from 50 states and twenty different countries.
The competition was judged by a diverse and highly skilled group of 75 national and international judges. Local Polk County wineries Parker-Binns Vineyard and Mountain Brook Vineyards were silver medal winners in the competition.
All proceeds from this event go to benefit Camp Good Days and Special Times a nonprofit organization that provides a camping experience and more for children and adults facing the toughest challenges of life. Children touched with cancer and other life threatening illnesses are able to spend time on beautiful Keuka Lake and enjoy simply being kids.
The fine quality locally grown grapes, are producing internationally award-winning wines. The best from the Tryon Foothills of Polk County.
