Chris Johnson of Tryon passed away April 21.
He is survived by his wife, Eloise Thompson Johnson of Tryon; daughter, Christa Johnson Whittaker (Bob) of Fort Walton Beach, Fla; son Damon Johnson of Shelby NC; four granddaughters; and three siblings.
Chris taught in Tryon Schools from 1966 to 1992. He also drove a school bus for Polk County.
Per his instructions, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
