Dorothy Marie Von Glahn of Columbus, went home  to be with her heavenly family on April 15, 2014.
Formerly of Holtsville, N.Y., she was the devoted daughter of the late Ernest and Pauline Gerstmann and the sister of  Arthur, Ernie, Bobby, Lester and Maizie, all deceased.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Claus.  She also was the loving and cherished mother of her two daughters Patricia Von Glahn and Debra Monahan (Marty).  She was also Nana to Joel Picher (Melissa), Jason Picher (finace Katie Fountain), Kate Monahan, Jonathan Picher and Martin Monahan.
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
After family, Dorothy was passionate about animals and birds.
She was a long time volunteer at Second Chance Thrift Shop and bowled with the Carolina Keglers.
