The Board of Directors of Tryon Fine Arts Center has launched the annual fund campaign to raise $85,000 to support programming and operations for the 45-year-old arts organization. The fund drive, launched during the Catherine Russell concert on March 28, will conclude following the Sutton, Holt and Coleman concert Friday, May 9.
This year’s campaign, headed by TFAC V.P. of Development ,Scott Pleune, focuses on creating funding to support the diverse programming and innovative events for all ages in the community.
“TFAC is a significant contributor to the quality of life in our area, offering a diversity of cultural and entertainment events,” says Pleune. “These events are aimed at providing a wide range of activities for adult tastes, as well as expanding student interest in the arts. This is a unique organization and one I am honored to support.”
Although admission is often charged for events at TFAC, the annual fund exists to support the ongoing operational costs of running the organization.  Tryon Fine Arts Center strives to serve as a creative driving force for live performance, arts education and distinctive exhibits in the Foothills community.
