“A Perfect Wreck”, Tom W. Freeman’s painting depicting the USS Constitution in battle, is one of the lithographs on display as part of the exhibit  “Old Ironsides and the War of 1812” at Tryon Fine Arts Center’s Gallery I.  Freeman is a self-taught military artist. A number of his original works, as well as other lithographs, currently hang in the White House.
Freeman is offering copies of the lithographs for sale at the exhibit, with proceeds benefiting Tryon Fine Arts Center.
The exhibit will be available for viewing Tuesdays-Fridays from 10-4 and Saturdays from 10-1 through Saturday April 19th.
