Pictured being seated is the most recent Tryon Estates Centurion, Peggy Gibson. Peggy turned 100 on March 19. Standing behind her from left to right facing the camera are Jo-An Lanier, Inge Ege, Jan Collins and Margaret Casler. Peggy conducts water exercise in the mornings three times a week for the “mermaids” (as they are known). A poolside birthday celebration was held to start the day hosted by her mermaids.
