All are invited April 12 for the Saturday night dance. The event will take place at The Party Place and Event Center in Saluda.

The caller is Linday Morris, a creative and animated individual who has as much fun as the dancers. Music is by PineTop Revival, a group that has taken old tunes and made them relevant for today.

A four piece old time string band shows their southern style with Dawn Cantrell on guitar, Steve Cantrell on mandolin, Dan Wood on banjo and Josh Johnson on fiddle.

There is a fee for admission, though the “special” offer is still in effect: bring two new dancers to Blue Ridge Contra and the person that brings them gets in free. Lessons are from 7-7:30pm with dancing from 7:30-10 pm.
