Louise H. Foster died Friday, March 21, 2014 in White Oak Manor Nursing Center, Tryon, N.C.

Born Aug. 9, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Broadus and Virginia Layne Henderson of Landrum, S.C.  She was also preceded in death by sisters Verle H. Jenkins, Helen H. Bridges and Amelia H. Wolfe.

Louise is survived by her devoted husband of  66 years, Ray J. Foster; daughters Debbie Foster-Teague (Joel) of Lynn, N.C, Robin F. Vosburgh (Grant) of Pulaski, Tenn.; granddaughter Amelia Layne Vosburgh of Pulaski, Tenn.; grandson Justin Crosby Vosburgh of Greenville, S.C; two step-grandchildren, Nadia Teague of Asheville, N.C. and Jason Teague (Victoria) of Raleigh, N.C. and sisters Dorothy H. Lockman of Chesnee, S.C. and Mary H. Nodine of Inman, S.C.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Pacolet Baptist Church, 3424 Skyuka Road, Lynn, N.C. 28750.
