Recently at Polk County Middle School, student representatives from each homeroom formed committees to work on projects that students want to improve around the school. Some of the committees that students are working on are a caught being kind program, art contests, school wide clean up and rewards for academics. Each committee formed had a student from each grade level to help come up with new ideas.
