Pea Ridge gatherings resume on March 13

The next Pea Ridge community gathering will be Thursday,  March 13 at 7 p.m. in the community center.
Speakers for the event will be Cherie Wright, victim services director, and Ruth Richardson, family outreach educator of Steps to HOPE.
Wright and Richardson will discuss Steps to HOPE domestic violence awareness program as it relates to victims of domestic and sexual abuse, intervention and educational issues for adults and children, court process, the Steps to HOPE shelter, the Second Chance Thrift Store and other pertinent information.
Area residents and interested persons are cordially invited to attend and bring finger foods and beverage.
Paperware and ice will be provided. The center is located at 207 Big Level Road, 3-1/2 miles east of Mill Spring, just off Hwy. 108.
Reminder: Individuals may bring recyclables to the center as the Polk County recycling truck will be there from 6:15-7 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month just prior to the meeting.
