Helen Voorhees Faulkner, 88, of Columbus, passed away on Feb. 10, 2014.

She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Emma Severin Voorhees and wife of the late William Kenneth Faulkner. She was also a beloved mother and grandmother and the heart of her home.

She is survived by three daughters, Caroline F. Callahan, Susan F. Arcularius and Sally F. McKinney. She had seven grandchildren, Susan Arcularius Alt, Emma Caroline Arcularius, John Frederick Arcularius Jr., Jennifer M. Bailey, Garrett D. McKinney, Leah M. Childress and Colleen M. Vaughn.

She also had eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at noon Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 at Petty Funeral Home.
