Alice Faye Russell Hampton, 72, of Houston Road, Columbus, NC died Thursday, February 6, 2014 at her home.

Born in Polk County, she was the daughter of the late Boney B. and Beatrice Russell. She was a graduate of Mill Spring High School, Mill Spring, and was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are: two sisters, Patricia A. West and Kay Amburn both of Columbus, and four nieces, Tina, Lisa, Janet and Ann. She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Hampton, who died in l996 and a brother, Donnie Russell.
