During the weeks from Jan. 5 through Jan. 19, 2014, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 193 calls.

There were 12 misdemeanor arrests, seven felony arrests, 23 citations issued, 38 civil papers and 17 criminal papers served.

Officers completed 470 house checks, 598 church checks, 1,050 business checks and patrolled 9,045 miles.
