Polk sheriff seeks info on Sunny Mountain break-in

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office seeks the public’s help in a recent breaking and entering at Sunny Mountain Restaurant & Fish Camp located in Sunny View.

Sunny Mountain owner Amanda Greene reported a breaking and entering on Jan. 18 of her business, located at 4891 Hwy. 9 North, according to a press release sent by the sheriff’s office.

The breaking and entering occurred sometime between 11 p.m., Jan. 17 and 1 a.m. Jan. 18, according to reports.

Items stolen from the restaurant include cash, antique signs and an antique model plane, according to reports.

The sheriff’s office is looking for a vehicle believed to have been used in the crime. Officers are seeking information on a late 1980s/early 1990s model full size Ford Bronco that is believed to be blue with a white top. The suspect reportedly left the restaurant heading north on Hwy. 9, towards Rutherford County, according to the sheriff’s office.
