Slow Food Foothills potluck Jan. 26 at Restoration

Published 6:18 pm Tuesday, January 14, 2014

Join Slow Food Foothills Sunday, Jan. 26 at Restoration Farm’s River Ministries Retreat House for the monthly potluck.
The group will be provide hot cider and tea. This potluck will be a bit different in that the organization has invited speakers to share about their experience at the Sustainable Agriculture Conference, which Slow Food Foothills recently sponsored.
Everyone is encouraged to arrive promptly at 4:30 p.m. so everything can fit into the normal two-hour window.
As is the case with all potlucks, everyone is asked to bring a local, seasonal dish to share along with your own tableware (plates, bowls, silverware, napkins, a mug or cup). With your dish and serving piece, also bring a description denoting items that are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free (for people with dietary restrictions or food allergies) plus denote use of any local ingredients.  Recipes are also encouraged as many people like to share.
Slow Food Foothills is currently in the process of updating its database.
If you do not currently get our monthly newsletters but would like to, email info@slowfoodashevillefoothills.com to stay abreast of all the great projects the group is working on in the next few months.
Also, for updates as they happen, befriend the group on Facebook at www.facebook.com/SlowFoodFoothills.
