Have a HeART show for Big Brothers Big Sisters

Big Brothers Big Sisters is pleased to announce their third annual Have a HeART fundraiser.
Area artists contribute heart-themed artwork that will be available through silent auction Jan. 31-Feb. 14 at the Upstairs Artspace in Tryon.
Also exhibiting at the Upstairs will be prints by Andrew Blanchard, paintings by Mark Flowers, and “Changing the Focus,” featuring new photography from Carolina Camera Club members.
The HeARTs project will feature the works of more than 50 artists who are creating unique works of “heART” to support Big Brothers Big Sisters.
A minimum price will be established for each piece, then the artwork will be up for bid during the opening reception on Saturday, Feb. 1, and during regular gallery hours through the closing bids reception on Feb. 14, just in time for Valentine’s Day gifts.
These generous artists contribute their time and talents to benefit the children served by Big Brothers Big Sisters in this community.
It’s up to the rest of us to support their efforts to enrich the lives of area youth. BBBS invites the public to visit the Upstairs during the HeARTs show to place bids, and to return at the closing for some spirited bidding for a favorite piece.
Winning a HeART can double your pleasure, allowing you to keep or give a very special gift and support a local charity as well.
