Cello Times Two presents a musical journey through six centuries on Jan. 19 at 4 p.m. at The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, Saluda.
Cellists Ben Smith and Brenda Leonard will play works from the 16th through the 21st centuries, with at least one piece from each century.
Highlights of the program include rarely-heard works by Orlando Gibbons (16th c.) and Reinhold Glière (20th c.), as well as a set of variations on the popular tune, Greensleeves (17th c.).  Admission is free.
