Craig Hutchens Ray, 60, of Columbus passed away Dec. 19, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional.

He was the son of the late Rev. A. V. Ray and Marie Ray and husband of Chris Searcy Ray.

He was a self-employed grading contractor.

In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by two brothers, Gary Ray and Alan Ray.

The family will receive friends from noon-1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 at Petty Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow in the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Shane Jackson.  Burial will be in Peniel Baptist Church Cemetery.
