Gerlene Abernathy McDowell Gosnell of Inman died Dec. 14.

Surviving are husband, John Terry Gosnell; sons, David McDowell of Campobello and Mark McDowell (Angie) of Inman, S.C.; grandchildren, Kenneth McDowell and Katie McDowell; siblings, Brenda Fowler (Nick), Ronnie Abernathy (Ruth), Barbara Bridgeman (Randy) and Randall Abernathy (Sheila), all of Landrum, Nancy Hammett (Marshall) of Inman, S.C. and Monte Abernathy (Zelda) of Mill Spring.

Services will be held 3 p.m. Dec. 17 at Petty Funeral Chapel.
