TDDA ornament auction now on display at the Upstairs/Artspace Gallery will complete the silent bids by this Saturday, Dec. 14.

A closing reception will take place from 5-7 p.m. extending the hours of the gallery until then. Visitors can still view the original handmade holiday ornaments donated by local artists and make bids on them until 6:30 p.m. that evening.

Prizes will be awarded to artists who have entries that are most creative, bring in the highest dollar bids and receive the most activity of bidding.

All of the proceeds from the ornament auction go to the TDDA to be used for next year’s gallery trot events. Tryon Gallery Trots have been successful in the past three years in bringing visitors to the galleries and businesses in Tryon on the second Saturday evenings of the month from April until October.
