Polk district court results from Nov. 27

In Polk County District Court held Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013 with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 143 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Phillip H. Leonhardt was convicted of intoxicated and disruptive. Leonhardt was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $25 fine and court costs.

James Otis Logan was convicted of no operator’s license. Logan was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Paige Nicole Peters was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Peters was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Taysen James Russell was convicted of failure to comply with license restrictions. Russell was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
